If you are interested in becoming a member of the Building Contractors Association of Otero County, you have the option to apply online or we encourage you to come by our office at 406 Fairgrounds Road inside Morrison's supply.  We will assist you in filling out the form and give you our New Member packet with information on your membership and benefits.

I acknowledge that as a member of the Building Contractors Association of Otero County (BCAOC), I am also a member of the parent federation, National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the state chapter, New Mexico Home Builders Association (NMHBA); and that I will abide by each organization's policies and bylaws.

Annual dues for membership in BCAOC, NAHB, and NMHBA are $445 for Builders, $445 for Associates, and $200 for Affiliates. Included in your payment of dues is a subscription for Builders Magazine and Nation's Building News. These amounts cannot be deducted from the total amount.

Dues payments to the Building Contractors Association of Otero County are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. However, dues payments may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expense, subject to an exclusion for lobbying activity. Because a portion of your dues is used for lobbying by NAHB and NMHBA, $47.00 for Builder and Associate members are not deductible for income tax purposes.
